Amruta Khanvilkar

Details : Among the young talented actresses, Amruta Khanvilkar is one such actress, who has only focused herself more only on Marathi films.  Besides performing in a good number of popular Marathi films, she has also done few Hindi films, Hindi serials and anchored Marathi TV shows and performed in celebrity dance reality show ‘Ekapeksha Ek’.

An accomplished dancer, Amruta originally from Pune, came to Mumbai to take part in ‘Zee India's Best Cinestars Ki Khoj’, a talent hunt show, which was telecast on Zee TV in the year 2004. Amruta was ranked third in this contest.  Later, she performed in Sahara One's TV Series ‘Ada’ followed by TV series ‘Time Bomb 9/11’. She also anchored daily ‘Bollywood Tonight’ which was aired on Zee Music. Amruta also played host for the ETV show ‘Comedy Express’ and also for ‘Dance Maharashtra Dance’ along with 'Siddharth Chandekar' on Zee Marathi.
