Bhushan Pradhan, who first shot to fame with his popular Zee Marathi serial ‘Pinjara,’ later found suitable roles in Marathi films. Although he was not a lead artiste in the film ‘Coffee Aani Barach Kahi,’ the success of the film has certainly helped Bhushan. In recently released film ‘Time Bara Vait,’ he was highly impressive as an action hero even though the film did not do well. But now Bhushan has four films in hand, out of which the much talked about ‘Dhinchak Enterprise’ is ready for release on August 21.
Zeetalkies spoke to Bhushan about his forthcoming films and he was more than happy to speak about ‘Dhinchak Enterprise.’ He also shared a memorable moment, which happened during shooting. “We were shooting the most important scene of the film, at a road side tea stall, where three of us i.e. myself, Manva and Khurshed, take an important decision in this film. While we were shooting, my attention settled on a small boy running this tea stall, who was also part of this film. Usually, we notice such children running tea stalls at most of the places. But I thought that it would not be proper to use him in the film, as it would send a wrong message about child labor to the audience. So I requested the director not to use the child in the frame. Initially, he thought that it would change the frame. But later, on my insistence, he agreed to accept my suggestion. That really made me happy. The boy was disappointed. But we convinced him, telling him the reason” said Bhushan.
When asked about his adventure in his other forthcoming film ‘Jeet’, he quickly responded by stating that he really enjoyed being part of the bicycle championship race, shot in the Bhandara Ghats, that too during rains. “I was used to riding a bicycle during my college days in Pune. But when they provided me with a special racer bicycle with gears, it was a challenge. Firstly, I had to understand the technique from an expert provided to me. The cost of that bicycle was very much on the higher side, almost on par with the price of a good car. But after practicing, I really enjoyed the adventure sport.” he added.
Bhooshan was also asked to comment on his much talked about dance performance in another forthcoming film, ‘1234.’ He was all smiles as he said, “Yes, it is a different form of dance; wonderfully choreographed. I am sure the audience will enjoy it,” he concluded.
