Yash (Rajesh Bhosale) and Raj (Chinmay Udgirkar) are two good friends, who are struggling to find a producer for their film. Yash wants to direct a film, while Raj wants to play a hero in that film. When they approach a fun loving rich farmer Bhau Damdar( Bhalachandra kadam), who wants to produce a film, Bhau agrees to finance and become a producer, provided he is made the hero. Raj finds a suitable actress in Supriya (Girija Joshi) for the film, who is in need of money. Bhau is impressed with the looks of Supriya. What follows is Yash, Raj and Supriya’s attempts to fool Bhau, by introducing another actress, a Tamasha dancer (Aarti Solanki) to distract his attention.
What We Loved :
The plot of this film is simple with the sole purpose of entertainment. Most of the scenes in the film are situation based comedy which extract the best out of the main artists. Bhau kadam suits the role and rolls out humor through his perfect comic timing. He finds good support from young lead pair Chinmay Udgirkar and Girija Joshi. Girija, in particular, looks good and shows promise through her overall performance. Aarti Solanki does well using her typical body language, indicating her versatility. Outdoor photography of Ankush Birajdar is appealing.
Thumbs Down For :
The film has its own hits and misses. The screenplay of this film, in the first half, fails to hold the audience attention although some scenes come out as out-and-out funny. Double meaning dialogues have been used in this film which are perhaps inspired by Dada Kondke films. But not all of them generate instant laughter. Chinmay Udgirkar has emulated Shah Rukh Khan time and again making it redundant act.
